Never ones to rest on their laurels, Alla Wolf-Tasker, her husband Allan and their daughter Larissa, have recently put the finishing touches on a stunning new precinct at their house on the lake.

Glistening above the shores of Lake Daylesford, the new infinity pool with spotted gum relaxation terraces is the perfect place to take in summer in the countryside. With uninterrupted views to the lake shores and pool service available throughout the day, it will undoubtedly become one of the most popular spots on the property.

The pool is nestled just below the recently refurbished Waterfront Studios which are indulgently appointed with plush interiors – large comfortable king beds, custom made studded bedheads with local woollen throws, wide luxurious sofas and armchairs perfect for relaxing in the afternoon with a little room service or glass of wine while watching the sunset over the far side of the lake. Ensuites are modern with beautiful smokey grey Mark Douglas glass lights.

The Lake House Team are also the recipients of a number of new awards including Regional Hotel of the Year (Gourmet Traveller Hotel Awards), Best Australian Property in a Food & Wine Region (Luxury Travel Gold List), Two Chef Hats (Good Food Guide) and the Hall of Fame for Australia’s Best Wine List (Wine List of the Year Awards).
