When times are tough, it’s important to keep forging ahead, keep your body active and keep your mind discovering new things. Here are some ideas to help you lift your spirit.
Visit one of our unique nurseries and buy plants and start sowing your seeds. If you don’t have a yard get pots or anything you can to hold dirt and grow food. It will make you feel better.
Come fishing. We have spacious spots so beautiful; the fish are a bonus.
Use our backyard as your gym. Go for a walk, get on that bike that has cobwebs in your garage. Avoid people, but don’t avoid water or the woods. Bathe in our autumnal beauty.
Nature is good medicine. Hanging Rock, Mount Macedon, Mt Franklin, Lederderg National Park, Trentham Falls are all waiting to be discovered. Fresh air is your friend.
At the very least, get out and go for a drive up the freeway. Pop into a roadside stall that will be brimming with potatoes. Change your scenery and let your positive outlook help you through.
