Golden Nugget Discovery Tours

We offer small group personalised signature journeys and experiences of Daylesford/Hepburn Springs and Spa Country. Whether its walking along a bush track, listening to the birds or admiring art and sculpture works in a gallery, we have something for you.

Our tours consist of Goldfields Track Walks, the walks are more of a European style walk where we walk along the bush track for a distance, then stop at a cafe for coffee before heading off again on the track to walk to our lunch stop, and so on until we reach the end of our walk.

The Daylesford/Hepburn Springs Highlights Tour is a great way to see the region, Some of the highlights are visiting tranquil lakes, botanical gardens, plunging waterfalls, fabulous art galleries, tasting the Mineral waters. Along the way you learn of the goldrush history and of the Swiss-Italians that settled within the region at Lavandula, the Swiss-Italian farm.

The Daylesford & Spa Country tour is an Ecotourism themed tour showing off the Mineral Springs, waterfalls, lakes, botanical gardens and surrounding towns within the Spa Country. You can indulge in the food and wine of the region during lunch at a quaint general store, and at the end of your day, soak your cares away in the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa.

The Daylesford & Castlemaine Discovery Tour takes you on a Ecotourism journey of discovery highlighting the gold rush history, Buda House in Castlemaine, lakes, waterfalls, art galleries, botanical gardens of both towns.The only heritage National Park in Australia is included in the tour, where you get to experience the gold rush history and see remnants of the Aboriginal culture.

We are members of Ecotourism Australia, which means our tours are sustainable and carbon neutral, so we have little impact on the environment.
