The Macedon Ranges are the southern end of Victoria’s Great Dividing Range and feature many natural and cultural attractions

Macedon Regional Park, which boasts a walking trail for every fitness level, with 30km of trails, including the popular Camel’s Hump Trail, recognised as the highest peak in the Macedon Ranges (at 1011m).

From there, you can choose to hike or drive to the Top of the Range Tea Rooms. Enjoy a light refreshment before following the short and pleasant walk along a sealed path to reach the Memorial Cross.

At 21 meters high, it is considered one of Victoria’s most significant war memorials. Make sure you leave time to follow the eco-trail at Sanatorium Lake, this beautiful, mountain top lake is stunning year round.
