Camels Hump is the highest point of the Macedon Ranges, 1001m to be exact, and it boasts spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
Like nearby Hanging Rock, Camels Hump is a mamelon, a volcanic feature formed over 6 million years ago. Often quieter than Hanging Rock, Camel’s Hump offers an easy walking track, that can be accessed by all fitness levels and your furry friends are welcome too.
