Mollisons

Mollisons is a 9 room boutique hotel located in the heart of Kyneton only 1 hour from Melbourne’s CBD.

Only a short walk from chef’s hat accredited restaurants, high-class dining, cafes, shops, galleries, spas and iconic Piper Street, Mollisons’ quiet and secluded surrounds provide the ideal place to relax and recharge or to use as a base for exploration of the stunning food and wine lovers’ region.

Once the Bank of NSW, Mollisons is one of Kyneton’s most significant and historic buildings. Fully renovated it now boasts an ultra-modern interior with a tasteful mix of antique and contemporary furniture, stylish trimmings and novel decorator pieces.

We have a range of rooms suitable for short or extended stays including six deluxe hotel style rooms and two boutique apartments with living areas and kitchens. Our rooms are available for short or extended stays with rates varying depending on size and location within the building. While all rooms are separate with individual entrances, Mollisons is also ideal for groups of up to 18 people.

Our 6 deluxe hotel style rooms all have an ultra-modern ensuite bathroom, a king or queen bed, a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a television. Some open off private decks in the serene and secluded rear garden while 2 are upstairs opening off an internal hallway.

Our large upstairs apartment has 2 bedrooms with king beds. It has a spacious lounge room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom with a shower over the bath and 2 hand basins. The toilet is separate.

Our deluxe downstairs apartment has a bedroom with a king bed and a large bathroom with a spacious shower and 2 hand basins. It has a living room with kitchen facilities, a small dining table and a couch.

All items in our rooms including linen, furnishings and furniture may be purchased from our boutique store in the front of the building where we also have an extensive range of homewares, gifts, jewellery, women’s fashion and babywear.
