A unique rustic function and wedding venue and gallery space.

Hedge Farm is an historic 20-acre property in Carlsruhe (half way between Woodend and Kyneton) and an hour out of Melbourne. The rustic timber stable and barn buildings make a unique country venue for weddings, private functions and other events for the public. As a licensed venue the bar offers local wines, beers, gin and cider; all produced in Macedon Ranges.

Hedge Farm changes with the seasons from cold wintery days, to glorious gold, amber and red foliage in autumn and flowering trees and bulbs in spring. Winter is a great time to ‘cozy up’ and relax in front of the open fire, while in summer the barn opens to the courtyard for guests to enjoy the shade of the spreading plane tree.

The gallery is available to local artists for exhibition of their work. In warmer weather this space also opens out onto a lush green garden for visitors to enjoy food and wine.

The farm is perfect for elopements and intimate weddings with many choosing to marry in the gardens in warmer weather or by the fireside in winter. Our focus is creating personalised and exclusive wedding experiences for each couple.

Merino Station, was once a railway station and now a fully self contained cottage ideal for one couple. The peaceful setting and outlook from the veranda to the paddocks provides a romantic getaway and escape for wedding couples.

Hedge Farm offers a range of experiences for the enjoyment of guests and locals and are planning a calendar events for the year ahead. These events will include food and wine experiences, wine tastings, gin makers festival, music afternoons, gallery exhibitions, Christmas celebrations and more. Visitors and locals can find out more about our upcoming events on our website.
