At Acre of Roses, we don’t just “do” weddings.
We do, however, delight in sharing our beautifully-curated, private, spellbinding rose and flower farm and on-site country cottage accommodation with lovers, creatives and dreamers who choose to elope or renew their vows.
Elopement ceremonies at Acre of Roses aren’t about cutting budgets, cutting guest lists and cutting corners; they’re all about cutting the rug, cutting the cake and popping the cork on magical moments made to become treasured memories to last a lifetime.
While every couple is unique, experience has taught us that lovers who elope share a yearning for an intimate, authentic, relaxed, low-stress celebration of their devotion to one another without compromising on all the little luxuries, beautiful accommodation and breath-taking photography.
Acre of Roses is perfect for elopements, vow renewals, intimate weddings and mini honeymoons. Our lush botanic setting is beautiful in all seasons; from frosty dawns in winter to perfumed blossom in spring, from falling leaves in autumn to pink-perfect sunsets in summer. You will feel embraced by the natural wonder of our little slice of verdant paradise. Our underlying philosophy is immersive transformation; helping you to slow down and be present so you can take in and enjoy all those precious fleeting moments that can easily get lost in the whirlwind of large-scale, traditional weddings.
When you book your 3-night/4-day Elopement at Acre of Roses you will have exclusive and private use of the entire property. Our Couple’s accommodation is included and you will be gifted a copy of our exclusive Little Black Book of the region’s best vendors. Your venue hosts, Sandy and Rob, are available for anyone who might require discreet witnesses and you will also have access to our private in-house chef with whom you can arrange to create a menu just for you.
Our venue is perfect for hosting up to 10 people total (8 + the elopement Couple). We have on-site accommodation for up to 8 people (6 guests + elopement Couple) in our luxury-appointed charming country cottages: The Miner’s Cottage and The Potting Shed Studio, with staying guests incurring an additional fee. We have many thoughtful in-house luxury discoveries as well as an authentic cedar tub, a steam shower room and a theater room, and all within a short stroll to the charming Trentham village and beautiful Wombat State Forest walking trails – making us the perfect mini Honeymoon venue too!
