Harcourt is a small town located at the foot of Mount Alexander, half an hour south of Bendigo. With a rise of 350 metres it’s a prominent landmark with magnificent views, stunning granite formations like Dog Rock and hidden mining remains. Providing the perfect backdrop for bushwalking and mountain bike riding at La Larr Ba Gauwa Park.

The valley below is covered with hundreds of acres of apple trees, and the town is well known for its crisp and tasty fruit. Holding its own bustling Applefest festival in March celebrating produce, food, wine, arts and stalls.

Harcourt is equally as well known for its apple cider, with some of the largest commercial plantings of cider apples in Australia.
