Campo Verde is home to a herd of much-loved alpacas and llamas raised with respect and care. Our philosophy, Treading lightly on earth, is more than a saying – it’s a way of life. We believe in doing less, noticing more, and sharing the beauty of these gentle animals in a way that honours their nature.

Visitors can join one of our hands-on farm experiences to meet, feed, or walk an alpaca or llama – always on their terms. Our one-day and half-day workshops are designed for curious beginners and aspiring alpaca owners alike, covering everything from basic care to behaviour and welfare.

If fibre is more your thing, you’ll find soft, natural alpaca yarns and handmade goods in our small farm shop, along with seasonal felting and knitting workshops. All our activities are small-scale, relaxed, and personal – a refreshing alternative to commercial animal tourism.

Campo Verde is proudly inclusive, LGBTQIA+ safe, and welcomes anyone seeking a slower, more grounded connection with animals and the land.
