Tastefully renovated in 2023, with a nod to the history & heritage of its humble beginnings in 1926, Hotel Trentham is a traditional country pub, located in the heart of one of Victoria’s most iconic country towns. Not too fancy. Just what you would expect the town’s local pub to offer.
Hotel Trentham is open every day of the year. Whether it’s for a sneaky beer in the public bar, a long lunch in the bistro, or a game of pool with friends, our doors are open and we will make you feel welcome, whether you are in Trentham for just the day, or popping in after work to catch up with friends.

Hotel Trentham re-opened its doors in January 2024, with its motto “There Are No Strangers Here – Just Friends You Haven’t Met Yet”.

Our pub also manages Hotel Trentham Villas! Conveniently located in the heart of town, our two-storey, two-bedroom self-contained Villas can accommodate up to four adults in each (8 in total). Both Villas are situated adjacent to one another, making it the perfect stay for family & friends, and for business or a work conference. Hotel Trentham Villas are located approximately 100 metres from Hotel Trentham, and just 50 metres from Trentham’s two main streets, including our local shops, bakeries, cafes, restaurants & wine bars, and just a short 5-minute drive to the Trentham Golf Club, Trentham Falls, and The Wombat State Forest.
