A country horse riding experience amongst the picturesque hills of Mt. Prospect
From the moment of arrival at Quirindi Stables – the home of Hepburn Lagoon Trail Rides, the pride and care that Kieran, Sue and their children take in their property is plain to see. Beautiful trees, lovely gardens, well preserved original buildings and so many happy horses!
Hepburn Lagoon Rides caters for all riders – beginners to experienced. The horses are well cared for and all have their own distinct personality. Kieran and his staff are skilled at matching horse and rider which will ensure that any riding experience at Hepburn Lagoon Rides will be a unique and memorable one. All riders will receive individual attention and our aim is for safety, comfort and enjoyment.
Kieran gives clear and thorough instructions on how to ride and aims to get each rider trotting. There is an opportunity for cantering in the bush for riders at Kieran’s discretion. The rides include country roads and native bushland which offer the possibility of native wildlife sightings such as koalas, kangaroos and echidnas. And who doesn’t love the sound of a kookaburra?
Refreshments are provided at the end of the ride, which is a welcome treat. Relaxing and chatting with the other riders only makes the experience better!
