Born from our love of beer and great food, the Daylesford Brewing Co. taproom on Daylesford’s Vincent Street has always been a favourite with the locals. Now, they have evolved into Grain – a laid-back spot for brekkie, burgers, and cheeky drinks. Long Paddock Cheese honoured by French Ambassador

Castlemaine’s Long Paddock Cheese has received international recognition, with Head Cheesemaker Ivan Larcher awarded the prestigious Chevalier du Mérite Agricole by the French Ambassador to Australia. The honour celebrates Ivan’s contribution to sharing French cheesemaking expertise and culture through his work at Long Paddock Cheese and The Cheese School. The award highlights the growing global reputation of this regional Victorian producer and its commitment to excellence in artisan dairy.

Table Records, Castlemaine

Table Records is the latest venture from chef Ali Currey-Voumard – known for her work at Public Wine Shop, Agrarian Kitchen, and most recently, Table Bistro. A natural evolution of her creative vision, Table Records is a record store by day, and an uber-cool wine bar by late afternoon and into the night.

The Macedon Village Hotel (formerly the Macedon Railway Hotel) opened its doors in mid-June following an extensive renovation. The Woods is a new food and lifestyle photographic and styling studio, located a stone’s throw from Daylesford.
