A stylish home for couples, families or a girls’ getaway, Cooinda is an expansive yet homely place, sleeping up to eight guests The undercover outdoor entertaining area looks out over the in-ground pool and heated spa, which is ringed by lush green grass. Designed by Wolveridge Architects and previously the home of founder Jerry Wolveridge and Christina Thedorou, Hillplains House + Cottage is a luxurious, 100% off-grid accommodation option located in Metcalfe. The main house sleeps up to six guests, while the cottage sleeps two. Inside, timbers, plywood, steel framing, polished concrete and concrete masonry brickwork are used to great effect to create not only a dramatic aesthetic but for thermal properties and fire resistance.
